Local artist Han Sai Por gets her ideas from nature and natural forms. When it comes to public sculptures, Han feels an artist must not put too much personal emotion into their work. People should be able to relate to them. The work must make tham want to look at it, and come close up to touch it. The sculpture should also fit well in its surroundings.
Completed in 1999, SEEDS SERIES were temporarily placed at FORT CANNING HILL. They were commissioned by Singapore Technologies Engineering for Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay.
